The Story of BLTC Brazil-Guyana
BLTC Brazil-guyana was founded by Antonio Gomes and Nick Hines in 2008.
Antonio Gomes came from Brazil (where he was a Portuguese Teacher) to learn English In Guyana.
In the last seven years we have welcomed students from over 20 different countries.
Our most popular courses are General English, Conversation and Exam preparation.
Centre Facilities
Outside class times you can use our self-study and listening centre (equipped with CD Players) or our ever-growing library. You will be able to choose the language area you wish to work on: pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, listening, examination practice, reading and literature & poetry.
There is a common room at Princes College where you can relax and meet other students. The college is fitted with student computers and free wifi which is available through-out the college.
Teachers
Our teachers are all native speaker level with experience and qualifications in teaching English as a foreign language. Many of our teachers have also worked in a variety of industries and schools in Guyana. This experience provides valuable insight into the areas of language learning our students are keen to develop. Modern methods and techniques used by our teachers help students learn the language quickly and efficiently. As we stress the importance of the teacher-student relationship, our teachers are carefully selected and monitored.
